Welcome! The Rotary Club of Largs extends a warm welcome to those who may be interested in joining the Club, as well as to those who are just curious to learn more about the Club's activities. The Club was founded in 1958 and today has about 40 members. There are no age limits. The Club's core activity is raising funds for worthy causes, although being a Rotarian entails much more than this. Its preferred charities for 2007-08 are the Rotary Foundation and the new Health Centre in Largs. The Club held its Jubilee Dinner on 6th June 2008. |

| In recent years the Club has had international projects in Romania for the building of a doctor and dentists' centre in the village of Ceuvas and the refurbishment of a children's' home in the town of Targu Mures. Strong international links are held with the Rotary Club of Stones Corner, Brisbane Australia and Largs Bay Club of Adelaide, Australia. The Club's members are far-travelled and personal links are maintained with many clubs world-wide. The Club is also active at District level, and two members are District Officers. | |
